Architectural Design II

ARC 257

Introduction:

The goal of this design project is to integrate both form and function, which are essential elements of architectural design, to create a bridge with a moving span. Our design was inspired by studying an existing real-world bridge along with a movable multi-hinged object, combining ideas from both to develop a new concept. By understanding the relationship between form and function, architects are able to design structures and spaces that are purposeful and meaningful.
